- Preheat your teapot by pouring boiling water into it.
- Discard the water. In your teapot, or filter, add 5 grams of loose leaf tea (or two pinches) per 400mL of water.
- Let boiling water rest 1-2 minutes before pouring over the tea.
- Let the tea steep for 2-4 minutes.
Depending on taste. - Remove the loose leaf tea or filter and set aside. You can reuse this tea for 1-2 additional pots.
- Pour the tea through a strainer into cups and serve.
